The Auction of Opportunities is a black tie event which will consist of welcome drinks and a three course meal in addition to entertainment provided by our pupils. 

The goal of this auction is to raise money for the Bede's Development Foundation Scholarship Fund, which provides life-changing educational opportunities for pupils who would otherwise never have thought a Bede's education was possible.

We are also looking for donations of unique experiences and exciting items for the auction. In the past, we have been overwhelmed by our community's incredible generosity, and we're now seeking a few final lots. If you have anything you would be willing to donate, we'd be incredibly grateful. This could be anything from VIP access to a sporting match, the use of a holiday home, restaurant vouchers, backstage access to an event, or a special experience day. We are looking for a wide variety of items that will appeal to everyone in our community. The goal is to give members of the Bede's community a chance to bid, have a fantastic time, and raise money to increase the number of Foundation Scholarships we offer to those most in need.

Individuals can raise awareness, but communities create change. Our current campaign aims to create in excess of 20 Sixth Form Foundation Scholarships by 2029, to do this we need to raise £1.6 million. To date we have now raised over £700,000 towards that target, meaning that since the Foundation was created in 2023 seven Foundation Scholars have enrolled at Bede’s, thanks to the generosity of our community.

A Bede's Foundation Scholarship is a life-changing opportunity for local families, covering 110% of fees. This includes costs for transport, uniform, and extracurricular activities, ensuring pupils can fully participate in all the opportunities Bede's offers without financial barriers.
